Booking
How far in advance should I book?
For sessions, as soon as you know your travel dates — sunset slots in high season fill first. For weddings, as soon as your date and venue are set.
Can I book once I'm already in Punta Cana?
Yes, if I have availability. Send a message with your hotel and dates and I'll reply quickly.
How do I reserve my date?
Send an inquiry with your dates and what you have in mind. I reply by email, and we figure out the details — including how to lock in your date — from there.
Do you speak English?
Yes. I work in English and Spanish.
The session
I don't know how to pose. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Almost nobody does. I guide you the whole time with simple, natural prompts.
Where will we take the photos?
At your resort, or at beaches like Macao, Juanillo (Cap Cana) or Bávaro. I'll recommend the best option for your group and dates.
What time of day is best?
The hour before sunset gives warm light; sunrise is soft and quiet. Midday sun is harsh, so I avoid it when possible.
Does my resort allow outside photographers?
Most do. Some charge a fee or require registration. I'll check your resort's current rules before you book.
What if it rains?
Showers usually pass quickly, and light clouds are actually good for photos. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we simply move a few hours later or to another day — in Punta Cana it's common for rain to pass and the sun to come right back out, so there's nothing to worry about.
My husband hates having his picture taken.
Very common, and it usually changes in the first ten minutes. Nobody has to perform. We walk and talk, and I only ask for small things.
What if the kids need a break?
They can take a break, move around and be themselves. We make the group portraits first, then leave room for play and the moments parents usually love most.
Photos & delivery
How will I receive my photos, and when?
You'll receive an online gallery you can view and download, with every edited photo from your session. Sessions are typically delivered in approximately 5 days. Wedding galleries are typically delivered within approximately one month because each gallery is carefully edited.
Are the photos edited?
Yes. Every photo I deliver is edited, with natural color and skin tones.
Can I request the RAW files?
RAW file requests are handled individually. Certain restrictions may apply, so ask when you inquire.
Can you keep our photographs private?
We respect your privacy. If you prefer that your photographs remain private, just let me know.
Weddings
Do you offer video and drone?
Wedding videography is available through our team. Drone coverage may be available through the team depending on the event, location and restrictions. Inquire for details.
Can we add a second photographer?
Second photographer options are available. Inquire for details.
How do we reserve our wedding date?
A 20% non-refundable deposit secures the date. The balance can be paid before or on the day of the event by PayPal, cash or international bank transfer.
What if we need to reschedule?
Request a change before the day of the session or event. There is no additional fee, and the new date is subject to availability. Same-day changes are not guaranteed.
Do you speak Spanish and English?
Yes, both — with you, your guests and your vendors.
Will you help with the timeline?
Yes. We plan it together around the light, and I coordinate with your resort or planner.
