This page describes what's actually implemented on this site today, not a compliance claim. If something doesn't work for you, please say so — info@johalcy.com — so it can be fixed.
What's in place today
- Keyboard navigation: the menu, forms and photo viewer (Cinematic View) can all be operated without a mouse.
- Escape closes the mobile menu and the Cinematic photo viewer; the photo viewer also supports left/right arrow keys.
- Form fields have visible labels, and errors are announced and focus moves to the first invalid field.
- Every meaningful photograph has descriptive alt text; decorative elements are hidden from screen readers.
- Text and background colors follow the site's color system, chosen for strong contrast against the warm ivory background.
- The site works at phone widths from 320px up with no horizontal scrolling.
