Services

Johalcy provides photography services for couples, families, proposals, honeymoons and weddings in and around Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Inquiries and quotations

Sending an inquiry through this site is a request for availability, not a booking. Pricing shown on this site (session and wedding starting prices) reflects current offers and may change; a specific quote is confirmed by email.

Bookings and payment

A 20% non-refundable deposit secures the date. The remaining balance can be paid before or on the day of the event by PayPal, cash or international bank transfer.

Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for arriving on time, for any permits or fees their chosen resort or venue requires of outside photographers, and for providing accurate information about their date, location and group.

Location and resort restrictions

Some resorts charge outside-photographer fees or restrict outside vendors. It's the client's responsibility to check with their resort, and Johalcy will help where he can — see the FAQ and pricing page for what's currently known.

Weather

Punta Cana weather can change quickly. If rain affects a session, Johalcy and the client work together to adjust timing on the day or reschedule — see the FAQ for the current weather policy.

Rescheduling and cancellation

Rescheduling requests must be made before the day of the session or event. There is no additional fee, and any new date is subject to availability. The 20% reservation deposit is non-refundable. Same-day changes are not guaranteed.

Photography process

Johalcy directs sessions calmly and adapts to each client; specific creative choices (posing, locations, timing) are made on the day based on light, location and the people involved.

Image delivery

Sessions are typically delivered in approximately 5 days. Wedding galleries are typically delivered within approximately one month because each gallery is carefully edited.

Copyright

Johalcy retains copyright of the photographs he creates, as is standard for professional photography.

Personal use

Delivered photographs may be used by clients for personal purposes — printing, sharing, social media — without needing separate permission.

Commercial use

Commercial use is handled separately. If you need photographs for advertising, resale or a business's own marketing, ask about the appropriate permission.

Portfolio / publication permission

Johalcy may wish to feature select photographs from a session in his portfolio or on social media. This is handled separately from the booking itself and is not automatic — see “Model / portfolio permission” below.

Limitation of liability

Johalcy will provide the agreed photography service with reasonable care. Questions about a specific booking should be raised as soon as possible so they can be addressed directly.

Third-party services

This website may rely on third-party services for hosting, fonts, or email delivery — see the Privacy Policy for the current list.

Website usage

This website and its photographs are the property of JOHALCY and may not be copied or reused without permission, other than the personal use described above for a client's own delivered images.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the business grows; the date at the top of this page shows the last update.
